The Dropa Stone Studio Update:
Just wanted to update you all on how things are progressing in the studio! Over the past few months, we have been working diligently on the new music, tracking all of the parts, experimenting and making lots of noise. A total of 9 brand new songs were decided upon and recorded and we cannot wait for everyone to be jamming to them. You can already see a preview of what is to come on our new official website at http://thedropastone.com . The song available for your streaming pleasure as you enter the site is called “We’re All Space Cadets.”
As you know, we have had Justin Beckler on board with us as producer and we do not have enough great things to say. Since he is also an established musician, his experience has been valuable and uplifting in the album recording process. He can see both sides of the coin and his knowledge of recording and playing many genres of music has been definitely enlightening.
After several pots of bold coffee, lunch breaks and all nighters, we are getting closer to achieving our goal. The band is currently in the mixing process for all 9 songs and we will be posting behind the scenes videos and teasers in the weeks to come. Look for the “Secret” studio footage soon…
